Paul Offit Behind Agreement Giving Vaccine Maker Impunity to Poison
Paul Offit belongs to the Wistar Institute, which owns the rubella component of GlaxoSmithKline’s MMR vaccine. It was secretly indemnified by the UK’s National Health Service in 1998, giving GlaxoSmithKline impunity to poison. But before that could happen, Wistar allowed its rubella vaccine’s continued use by GlaxoSmithKline in its combined vaccine even after it was pulled in Canada for safety issues. The subsequent indemnity led to the UK Department of Health and GlaxoSmithKline orchestrating the theft of vaccine-injured children’s medical records with London’s Royal Free Hospital.
And yet Offit has no problem remaining an adjunct associate professor on Wistar’s faculty. He has held the position for over 25 years, previously working as assistant professor and research investigator at Wistar.
He has spent much of that time working on rotavirus vaccine development at Wistar with rubella vaccine inventor Stanley Plotkin. Offit has also praised opposition researcher Brian Deer for his misrepresentations of vaccine-injured children’s medical records, which he got through theft masterminded by the GSK-backed administrator that shut down the original autism-vaccine research. It is quite clear that Paul Offit would gladly do the same to medical records of vaccine-injured children at his own hospital if he was given the chance. He has no respect for patient confidentiality and is happy to see medical records of children he helped poison be used to protect that poison.
To this day, his institute Wistar benefits from the secret indemnity agreement between GlaxoSmithKline and the UK National Health Service. So too does Paul Offit, who believes vaccine makers should poison kids with impunity.
