According to OpenSecrets.org, Steyer, who has donated to numerous PACs and Democratic candidates, sent a donation in the amount of $2,700 to the 30-year-old’s campaign on August 29, 2018.
The revelation comes just days after she and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders called out Mayor Pete Buttigeig for holding a fundraisers with rich donors.
