Biden’s Recovery Plan Would Extend the Federal Government’s Extraordinary Eviction Ban Through September 2021
Extraordinary this is. No one wants to see tenants evicted but if government wants to nationalize rental housing it should at least pay landlords. And what about misbehaving tenants.

Suspending evictions until well into this year—as some states have already done and Biden is urging Congress to do for the entire country—could well produce the oft-predicted eviction “tsunami” these policies are supposed to prevent.
In addition to a renewed eviction ban, Biden is also calling on Congress to pass $30 billion in emergency assistance that tenants could use to pay their rent and utilities.
