California Regulators Shut Down a Distillery for Serving Alcohol

Even Kanye West is moving his business out of California due to regulatory challenges in the state. Also, we’ll bet that if this distillery had the right friends in the statehouse this would never have happened.

Where did Blinking Owl (the distillery) get the idea that a person could be served more than 1.5 ounces if they were to call ahead to be placed on some sort of private party guest list? It may have been from regulators themselves.
