Did Trump just kill Tesla?
Elon Musk’s car company has been subsidized by taxpayers since its beginning. Tesla is a deeply crony company. Now a key subsidy is being pulled away.

The president kiboshed a much-lobbied-for “extension” of the $7,500 kickback to electric car buyers….
For the record we think there IS AN UNSUBSIDIZED market for electric cars. This is clearly the case. However, non-EV drivers shouldn’t be forced to discount electric vehicles for others.
