Parents protest school closures demanded by teachers union

In a KQED story on the protest, another Berkeley parent said she nearly enrolled her 6-year-old daughter in private school in the fall, but chose to keep her in public school. “To be honest, I’m deeply regretting that decision right now,” said Nicole Blaquiere.
School choice (vouchers) would help in this situation.
