Pro-Tesla Blog Speculates That 200,000 Cybertrucks Have Already Been Reserved
200,000? OK. What’s the chance this number gets revised down in coming weeks? We’re asking. Why, also are taxpayers helping to fund Tesla?
Basically what we see here is Ford coming after the electric market with it’s new Mustang E. (Which was presented just before the angle truck.) Musk responds by going after (kinda) Ford’s biggest seller the F-150.

Or, as the blog put it: “Has the Silicon Valley automaker racked up more pre-orders for the Cybertruck in a matter of hours than Ford has for the Mustang Mach-E thus far?”
Reminding its readers that the Model 3 received over 400,000 reservations and that “trucks are considerably more popular than sedans in the U.S.,” the blog then speculates that “Tesla could already have over 200,000 deposits” for the Cybertruck.
