Sen. Bernie Sanders Confirms He’s Seeking Labor Secretary Position

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said he’s spoken with Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s team about becoming the secretary of labor should Biden win the election.
“Have you had any conversations with anyone from the Biden transition team about a possible Cabinet post?” CNN host Jake Tapper asked the self-described socialist senator on Nov. 15. Sanders responded in the affirmative and confirmed that he spoke with Biden’s team, and said he “wants to do his best in whatever capacity, as a senator or in the administration, to protect the working families in this country.”
