Trump tweeted ‘billions of dollars’ would be saved on military contracts. Then the Pentagon fired the official doing that.
The Pentagon does not like to cut costs. The taxpayer is at best an afterthought.
The lesson here is clear. Go along and get along (on the taxpayer dime)or suffer the consequences. This a general rule for all government.
