What’s going on Canada?: Mistakes in federal budget quietly corrected online, Finance Department blames ‘typing errors’
Canada is an ideal neighbor. Polite, conscientious, generally darn tolerant of big loud America to the south. Plus the Canadians send us pretty decent rock stars. But something has been amiss lately.
Still they are concerned about a discrepancy of $2.2 billion. Not chump change. However, in the immediately previous post to this one Open the Books pointed out to us that the US federal government improperly paid out $1.2 TRILLION over the last decade and a half.
