Enter Oracle, whose co-founder Larry Ellison is a prominent Republican donor and CEO Safra Catz worked on the executive committee for the Trump transition team in 2016. Venture fund Sequoia Capital’s global managing partner, who took the lead lobbying the Trump Administration, has also donated heavily to Republicans this year. Walmart also joined the bid.
