Action Alert: Keep Up the Momentum! We Need To Be Stronger Than Ever!

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) needs all hands on deck to continue with the momentum from our campaign “Protect the Children: Don’t Break Our Hearts.” While the February 15 meeting of the Vaccine and Related Biologicals Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) to consider granting Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to Pfizer’s COVID vaccine for babies ages 6 months  up to five year olds was postponed until April, we need to express our concerns to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that such young children may be exposed to this risky vaccine. This could prove a devastating move to the health of nearly 20 million children in our country. We also need to communicate these concerns with our elected officials who need to hold these government organizations accountable for their decisions.

Protect the Children: Don’t Break Our Hearts

Given the lack of data showing safety or efficacy of the two-doses Pfizer applied with to obtain EUA, the company withdrew its application and the FDA postponed the meeting until early April.

U.S. public health officials and US and state lawmakers need to hear from the millions of us who oppose giving unnecessary vaccines to infants and young children who have virtually zero risk of complications or death from COVID. Subjecting healthy children and babies to this vaccine poses a much greater risk through potential severe adverse reactions and even death.

We’re asking all of you to do two things to make sure your voices are heard at this critical moment.

  • Fill out the form below to send emails to your state and federal elected representatives. Make follow up phone calls to each person asking if they’ve received your email. Use this as an opportunity to also express your opposition to any mandates for school.
  • Join CHD’s Red Letter Campaign! Mail hand-written notes in red envelopes from you and your child to every public official listed at the bottom of this page, beneath the form. Your child’s message can be very simple: “Don’t break our hearts, protect our health.” Also, include your own message explaining why you oppose granting EUA status to these risky vaccines. If you don’t have time to write your own, use the message text below. Print our fully-referenced flyer (color or black-and-white, one side or both) and include it in the envelope. It presents science showing that COVID vaccines are ineffective, unsafe, and unnecessary for our children. Red envelopes are available at many retailers including Staples, Office Depot, Walmart and Amazon. Don’t have time to get red envelopes? Use regular envelopes and draw red hearts on them.

If an EUA is granted, Pfizer’s pediatric vaccine will be available to nearly 20 million children under the age of five, many of whom already have robust natural immunity. It also will be an important milestone in the pharmaceutical industry’s ultimate goal of getting COVID shots on the recommended childhood schedule, granting them immunity from liability for injuries and deaths from these vaccines in perpetuity.

We absolutely cannot let this happen.

Join CHD in contacting all of these public officials ASAP!
