Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Responds to New CDC Study on Association Between Aluminum in Childhood Vaccines and Asthma
Press Release
Washington DC — On Tuesday, a federally funded study was published in the journal Academic Pediatrics titled “Association Between Aluminum Exposure from Vaccines Before Age 24 Months and Persistent Asthma at Age 24 to 59 Months,” coauthored by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Immunization Safety Office officials Dr. Frank DeStefano, Dr. Jonathan Duffy and Dr. Satoshi Kamidani. The authors reveal that higher aluminum exposure from infant vaccines leads to a greater incidence of asthma in 2- to 5-year-old children. Children diagnosed with eczema were at the highest risk of asthma when exposed to aluminum in vaccines with a hazards ratio of 1.62, meaning they were 62% more likely to get an asthma diagnosis.
The most compelling results came when the CDC looked at asthma incidence in children receiving more than 3 milligrams exposure versus less than 3 milligrams exposure. Typically, an infant vaccinated following the CDC schedule can be exposed to as much as 5 milligrams of aluminum within the period between birth and age 2 years.
In response, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) chairman and chief legal counsel Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said:
“It’s noteworthy that a senior author on this study is none other than Frank DeStefano, the CDC’s longtime director of the notoriously corrupt Immunization Safety Office. DeStefano has played a key role since 1999 in generating the fraudulent studies CDC cites to deceive the public about the links between the exploding childhood vaccination schedule and the devastating epidemic of neurological, autoimmune, allergic and other chronic diseases that now debilitate an astonishing 54% of American children in the ‘vaccine-generation kids (born after 1989).
“It’s significant that, at the end of an extraordinarily destructive career undermining public health, DeStefano has signed on as coauthor to a study that hints at one of the catastrophic side effects of childhood jabs — the asthma epidemic — that he helped impose on American children.”
CHD chief science officer, Brian Hooker, Ph.D. commented:
“I find it very interesting that despite the caveats made in the discussion section of the paper and the typical whitewashing of the results that you would expect from the CDC, it is clear here that aluminum exposure in vaccines is related to asthma incidence. This affirms results from my paper with Neil Miller where we saw a statistically significant odds ratio of 4.49 for asthma in vaccinated children versus unvaccinated children. Similar results were found in Mawson et al in 2017.”
