When entrepreneurs must navigate the maze of regulatory demands, the path to providing consumers with what they want becomes long, torturous, and expensive.
Health care is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the country (e.g., health care provider licensing, FDA drug approvals, hospital regulations, insurance mandates, Medicare, Medicaid, ObamaCare, etc.). No wonder it’s so costly!
The only way to bring down healthcare costs without compromising innovation and quality is to deregulate.
Instead, government just adds more regulation.
