You can hate on me all you want, but I do still watch NBA basketball and still watch the Lakers on occasion. During every Laker game, this stupid commercial for Casino Morongo comes on at least 5 times during the broadcast and every time I see it all I hear is this crap about being safe. I have wanted to make this video all year and finally decided to film the stupid commercial. This video reminds me of another video I made 6 years ago. It's a compilation of clips showing how back then there was a major agenda to always have the public be scared of something. Years of this agenda has resulted in what we have today. A population of people who are terrified petrified cowards scared to die and scared to be out of their comfort zone. The voice over in the commercial is extremely creepy to me… especially at the :14 second part where the narrator says, "we'll keep you safe." They already said they that they have "safe clean fun." There's no reason why the very next phrase should be "we'll keep you safe." The arrangement of the words as well as the overall sound of it feels very Orwellian and I have seen this commercial over 100 times. This video shouldn't be of any major revelation but this has been annoying me for a while and I get reminded of it quite often so I decided to share it.
