2023, how the tale of the virus will change
Dear friends of the blog,
In wishing you happy New Year, I give in to a prediction. Soon there will be talk on television about how much the vaccinated are protected. I mean that the news and broadcasts dedicated to the pandemic will be given space for ISS data that monitors infection and personal protection every seven days.
If you are thinking that this news already has too much space, I invite you to continue.
Looking at the ISS data of 24-12-22 it emerges that, as a percentage, the vaccinated become more infected than the unvaccinated, aged 5 to 79 years.
In detail: compared to peers who have never had a Covid vaccine, children 5-11 years old become infected 39% more; young adults 12-39 years old with boosters 36% more and adults 40-59 years old 64% more.
Only among 80-year-olds and over 80s do ISS data show fewer infections than unvaccinated booster vaccinees.
“It emerges that the more doses you do, the more susceptibility to infection increases and that the rates are worsening compared to previous bulletins – show Alberto Donzelli Doctor, Specialist in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, and member of the independent Medical-Scientific Commission – These are data that relate to infections (hence also the transmissibility of the virus). Vaccines protect (again) from severe COVID 19 but after about three months this protection is also reduced”. See the tables 21 Decemberand (Tab. 5TH p. 25 and Tab. 6, p. 29)
To mortality we will dedicate articles soon. For now it is useful to know that the incidence of Covid on general mortality today is low (less than 100 deaths out of the 1, 800 daily) and that general mortality is increasing in the vaccinated in 2022, as data published until May by the English National Office for Statistics show.
Appeal to politicians
Meanwhile the Independent Medical Scientific Commission appealed to politicians. “The scientific evidence accumulated so far imposes changes of course in vaccination strategies. It is unacceptable to hear again about the (partial) effectiveness of vaccines in preventing SARS-CoV-2 infection, ‘for the protection of the community’, with erroneous references to the data of the ISS Higher Institute of Health. The data shows what has just been shown. And they are within everyone’s reach. We ask those who have public responsibilities in our country, as well as health professionals and all interested parties, to implement the simple checks that we propose on the tables of the ISS Bulletins”.
That’s not all, according to the famous epidemiologist Ioannidis: “Vaccinations have had no effect in containing the pandemic wave”, the Italian data are consistent with a large number of international studies”.
According to the Medical Scientific Commission, it was precisely the distorted public debate “that led the Consulta astray, with the re-proposal of statements contrary to what emerges from the data”.
Recall that the Constitutional Court, for the first time since it exists, has not issued rulings on the constitutionality of measures taken in the pandemic but stated that it “relied on science”.
PS. After asking Parliament, the Commission received a reply from the honourable Member Andrea Barabotti (Alloy) :
“I believe that the way forward, as proposed by the League, is to establish a parliamentary commission on the management of the pandemic. Within the framework of the work of that commission your analyses could undoubtedly find the right attention”.
Finally. I’ll show you nell PDF attachment a comment from the reader Ma ((which I have never published) to which Dr. Donzelli, member of the Independent Medical-Scientific Commission (CMSi), answered for me, which I thank.
