The strange case of the man vaccinated 217 times
The news seems absurd: a 62-year-old German said he had been vaccinated 217 times between June 3, 2021 and November 7, 2023 because he was afraid of falling ill with Covid. He claims to be fine and some tests have shown that he has developed many antibodies against Sars-Cov-2.
His fears cost the state 4,000 euros. But the man, a homeless man from Magdeburg, was also investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office for fraud. It is supposed that he intended to sell fake vaccine certificates and also that he did. But then the authorities dismissed the investigation on the grounds that “the subject was not fit to stand trial”.
The case ended on Lancet. Researchers of the University of Erlangen and the University Hospital of Erlange learned of the clochard’s obsession with hypervaccination by reading the local chronicles. They analyzed some blood samples and documented that his immune system not only functioned normally, but that some defense cells and antibodies against Sars-CoV-2 were significantly more numerous than in people who had received only three vaccinations.
The man would have received eight different vaccines, including mRNA, he would have been able to prove that he had given 108 injections but the Prosecutor’s Office found documents of 130 inoculations in nine months.
How do you explain the number 217?
From what it turns out is a self-statement. The man was believed by the researchers, who during the deepening of his case would have vaccinated him for the 217th time.
What can I say? The story overflows with gross gaps but has been decorated by Lancet – not really a magazine – with the trappings of science.
The conclusions are therefore interesting: according to Lancet the hypervaccinated man is well, he has not had any adverse events and – let’s think about it-not even a halo on the arm as a result of the hundreds of inoculations. Then he did not catch Covid and has so many antibodies. However, the scientists add, his example is not to be imitated.
Here find the story commented sagaciously.
In addition the epidemiologist’s considerations Stefano Petti:
“The first anomaly lies in the fact that in the Lancet guidelines it specifies not to accept case reports, because they are irrelevant from a scientific point of view. I had the opportunity to contest one, also in the Lancet, in 2012 but I got no response or public debate. It is inferred that when there is a “particular” interest, the journal accepts case reports. But it is even more serious that Lancet does not take care to verify what the authors described, although it is its duty”.
And then, adds Petti, “doubts are much more than certainties and remain unanswered:
How do doctors not find traces of the punctures on the arm from previous days? Never a bruise? Never a question?
Why, if the sixty-two-year-old was so afraid of Covid, did very few tampons? Only two during the first 90 doses.
Instead from May 2022 to August 2023 he made a lot of them”.
And again:
“Why were some vaccine certificates found on behalf of other people? Why did the German judiciary, very busy finding the fake vaccines (as we do) start the investigation and then archive them? Why is there no record of over 80 vaccinations? And why did the researchers accept the number of doses declared and without evidence?”
Petti concludes: “Let us ask ourselves how credible what is accepted can be: in an era when even the minutes of the expiration of tampons were counted, it is not known these vaccines were administered and to whom”.
Welcome to vaccine science.
