Powder-coat 3d prints with precious metals

Here’s a polycrylic powered precious metal finish I’ve been using for a while now and seems to be a great solution for my 3d prints. Polycrylic is a water-based acrylic sealer so it’s easier to work with than a varnish and is durable enough for indoor use. The PLA is probably the weakest part of the finish and you could simply print in a material that’s more durable if that’s important to you. The Olmec head model I used is a LiDAR scan of the “Great King” colossal currently in San Lorenzo. I printed it out full-size in another video using tiles.
