New Rasmussen Survey: The highest income people, the ones with the most education, are least likely to be very concerned about violent crime

A new Rasmussen Reports Survey of 1,000 U.S. Likely Voters conducted on August 17-18, 2022, shows that Americans are very concerned about violent crime, with 61% very concerned and 25% somewhat concerned. Only 12% are not concerned, and 1% are not sure. The agreement holds across sex, age, race, party, and ideology, though Democrats, liberals, those making over $200,000 per year, and those who graduated from graduate school are least likely to be very concerned. The survey indicates that those least likely to be affected by violent crime are also the least likely to say they are very concerned about it.
