Senator Tim Scott asking financial Institutions to explain what is wrong with Georgia Voting Law
CEOs from the nation’s largest banks testified before the Senate Banking committee on their operating practices. The heads of Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley were asked by Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) about their opposition to the Georgia voting law and their decisions not to deal with oil companies and those in the gun industry. None of them provides an answer for what exactly is in the Georgia voting law that caused them to oppose it nor justified why there are certain legitimate companies that these banks will not do business with.
