Round 2

I’m often asked if there’s any hope of turning California around. My answer is yes, but it won’t happen of its own accord. We have to make it happen. We have to take action.

That’s what we’re doing right now when it comes to suspending the gas tax. Tomorrow is Round 2: we’ll be forcing another vote on my bill during the Assembly’s morning session.

Given the fallout from Round 1, I’m willing to bet we get more votes this time. Other states have suspended the gas tax and prices fell. To the legislators who voted “no” before, there are no more excuses.

You can look up your Assembly Member here and and tell them to vote yes before 9 AM tomorrow.
