California Democrats just voted to continue the State of Emergency even as we host the Super Bowl. Here is the vote tally.
Right before I called for the vote I was given a useful prop: a mask with a picture of Newsom and Magic Johnson maskless. Here’s the video of me wearing it as I addressed the Assembly.
Gavin Newsom responded with a vile attack on me and Gallagher. He said:
“Apparently, Asm. Kiley and Asm. Gallagher believe it would have been better to let Californians die and be turned away from care when hospitals reached capacity during the Omicron surge.”
After today, Newsom and the Democrats will come after me like never before. Thank you for having my back.
