What a First Day
What a first day.
In 24 hours, we received well over a quarter million dollars from over 2,500 individual donors. Nothing like this has been seen in California politics. I can’t tell you how grateful and hopeful I am. (You can donate here.)
Meanwhile, the Newsom campaign is already sending out unhinged press releases attacking me. As Jennifer Van Laar writes for RedState, “Newsom knows Kiley’s a threat.”
Our movement is a threat not just to Newsom but to California’s entire corrupt political class. If we succeed, Special Interests will no longer run our Capitol. Public service – government of, by, and for the people – will mean something again.
I’d love to see you at the big campaign kickoff rally we’re having at the State Capitol this Saturday from 10 to 11 AM. (Facebook event here). We’ll have some fantastic speakers, including James Gallagher. We’re planning other rallies across the state for the next few weeks.
In the spirit of the Recall campaign itself, we are also forming active teams of volunteers in every part of the state. You can join one in your area here.
These next 70 days could mean everything for California’s. Let’s make history!
