Once upon a time, Matt Beaudreau was deep inside the schooling Matrix – first as a teacher and then as an administrator.

Today Matt is an in-demand and provocative education speaker and consultant, and a personal development coach to people all around the world. He is also the founder of the Acton Academy in Placer, CA; Acton is a program of self-directed learning with over 100 locations around the world.

In this show we’ll discuss the events that helped him to awaken and start speaking out.

He’ll also be returning in the near future to map out a hero’s journey for teens.

About Acton Academy Placer

Acton Academy Placer is an Educational Resource Center for students grades K-12 in Northern California. The Center provides a collaborative environment for students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, engage in daily Socratic discussions, drive their own academic paths, and create opportunities for themselves around their individuals skills and passions.
