I watched a movie over Christmas break in which a dad said that sometimes he felt more like a camp counselor than a parent, and that really struck me. I’ve often thought about how children can be inundated with activities to the point that they have no free time, but I never actually thought about why so many parents do it. I finally figured it out – guilt.
