They get bailed out by the taxpayer and then they get to enjoy subsidies paid for by the taxpayer. How sweet!

A state of Michigan corporate welfare program is projected to hand out $6.8 billion in state taxpayer-funded subsidies to the Big 3 automakers through 2030, according to an analysis done by the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.

The companies get billions of dollars, but the agency in charge, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, refuses to disclose how much each company gets.
