In which we take a momentary break from our usual crony capitalist coverage.

Pete Buttigieg recently gave a speech in which he said he strongly disagreed with the idea that freedom means freedom from government. He then offered  “counter-examples” including an oppressive county clerk, a police officer, and members of Congress, all government officials. Hmm. Well, this may be a tad illogical, but Buttigieg clearly isn’t afraid to speak without a teleprompter, unlike some recent presidents. And the crowd whooped and cheered him.
